27/12/2016 MRT SBK (Sungai Buloh-Kajang) Phase 1 Trip

The MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line (later I use SBK for short form) has opened at 16 December 2016 and had 1 month free ride for 12 stations that opened for Phase 1 from Sungai Buloh to Semantan. The free ride for 1 month also include the feeder buses. The free ride end by 16 January 2017. 

So I had planned to go for the ride on MRT on 20 December but I postponed to 27 December due to some inconvenience cause in my home. Due to not enough time to upload all the video I will just use my combined video that I edited by using video editor.

Then,I go to KL Sentral for lunch by using the feeder buses (No. T819) from MRT Pusat Bandar Damansara station to KL Sentral. ***Sorry for no picture or video for feeder bus.***

Then, after I had my lunch I went back to Semantan MRT Station again for return journey. I drop at Kwasa Damansara station for a look for future line (SSP) and future interchange (SBK-SSP) information.

This trip will be my last trip for year 2016. Trip for year 2017 may planned to JB Sentral. Thank you for supporting me.

****Note:

1. For MRT currently only allow to use token or Touch n Go card only untul the whole line completely opened and system upgraded that can use MyRapid card.

2. For feeder buses only RM 1 for fare to travel from MRT station to dedicated destination. Touch n Go can be used onboard the feeder buses.

3. Some MRT station have Park n Ride services.

5/12/2016 BRT Sunway Line Trip and Unplanned Trip

Very long time not update my blog,therefore I planed to go to Subang by my school bus to INTI Subang from INTI Nilai. The bus only for INTI student,so I apologized about it. My journey start at USJ 7. Firstly, please watched the video that I catch at USJ 7.

Next, I board the BRT Sunway Line bus to Setia Jaya first.

Depart. I love the greeting.

Arrive at South Quay.

No more video on the bus due to I play Pokemon Go. Sorry.

After that, I boarded the bus again go to Sunway Pyramid Mall.

Next, I dropped at Sunway Lagoon station. Unfortunately, many shops not opened yet. Therefore,I have enough time. I continue my journey with my unplanned trip.

Unplanned Trip Part

My unplanned trip start with I went back to USJ 7 and took the LRT to Putra Heights. Later,I took the Ampang Line LRT to Chan Sow Lin.

Now, my unplanned trip begin.I went to Ampang.

Passed through Ampang depot and arrived at Ampang.

**Note: Effective 1 December, who were boarded train from Ampang heading to city centre no more interchange train at Chan Sow Lin. Train from Ampang will direct to Sentul Timur. Ampang Line now also serve with new train "AMY".

There was why you can get some voice of motor of "AMY" in my video.

After that, I return back to SS 15. I went for lunch and continue my Pokemon Go at Subang.

**Note:

1. I would like to apologize I postpone my trip to JB Sentral again and again due to my financial problem. I plan may have it at April/May 2017 with KTM Komuter to Tampin and Southern Express to JB Sentral.

2. At 11 December,Ampang Line(Ampang - Chan Sow Lin) will begin at 9am due to maintenance work. Free shuttle bus provided for /this section.

3. I have planned to have a trip for MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line on 20 December. I will board train from Sungai Buloh-Semantan for the phase 1 opening. Phase 2 of the line would open at July 2017.

**Seek for help:

1. Have anybody know has hotel near JB Sentral station or not? How much rental for 1 night(budget hotel better)? Is it necessary for me to stay at hotel if I reach JB Sentral around 8pm and board the train around 9am?

2. Have any stall or shop open around 7am near JB Sentral(not more than 5 minutes by walk)?

31/8/2016 Merdeka Trip

31/8/2016, also is Malaysia 59th independence day. I also had a public holiday. I enjoyed my holiday by have this trip. Here we go. Let start now.

Part 1: Nilai to Ampang

I boarded the KTM Komuter to Bandar Tasik Selatan first.

When I was waiting at the platform of Nilai KTM station. I catched a KTM Class 92 (SCS) video.

KTM Komuter Class 92 (SCS 01) arrive.

Then, I went to Bandar Tasik Selatan to interchange to the LRT Ampang Line(actual now is Sri Petaling Line but I still call it Ampang line also the same).

Before I went to LRT platform, I catched a video again.

SCS 01 depart and the LRT "AMY" train also depart at the same time.

Next, I also lucky to get chance to catch the video of LRT "AMY" train turn around at Bandar Tasik Selatan.

The train comes out the turn around site.

I take this train until Chan Saw Lin, which is now as the terminal of the Ampang branch of Ampang line.I interchange at Chan Saw Lin to take the Adtranz train which is the old train of Ampang line to Ampang.

The Adtranz train. Will be retired after all "AMY" train fully delivery to Ampang.

Part 2: Ampang to Sentul Timur

I boarded the next train back to Chan Saw Lin again and took the "AMY" train

to Sentul Timur. Because now from Sentul Timur to Putra Heights were using the new "AMY" train to allow direct service to Putra Heights.I catched some picture and a video after I had arrived Sentul Timur station

Part 3: Sentul Timur to Putran Heights.

I boarded the "AMY" train to Putra Heights. I also snapped some pictures.

Part 4: Putra Heights to KL Sentral

I boarded the LRT Kelana Jaya line to KL Sentral. I got a funny story at Putra Heights station. Watch the video below.

 

4-coach LRT arrive. This train have air conditioning problem and back to depot Subang after arrive.

I went to KL Sentral for my lunch and purchased the limited edition MyRapid card for future use.

Part 5: KL Sentral to Putra Heights and back to Nilai.

After I had my lunch and purchased the new MyRapid card. I board the LRT Kelana Jaya line back to Putra Heights and interchange the Ampang Line to Bandar Tasik Selatan then interchange to KTM Komuter back to Nilai. Let's watch pictures and videos below.

Thank you for read my blog. I have planned to have a trip to JB Sentral at end of October and a MRT trip on Sungai Buloh-Kajang line at December.

13/7/2016 Explore Whole LRT Line in KL

I no class anymore at today. I suddenly plan to explore whole LRT line in Kuala Lumpur which is the Rapid KL LRT.

I start my journey at Nilai due to I am studying at Nilai.

Part 1: To Putra Heights

I board the KTM Komuter to Bandar Taski Selatan first.

Next, I interchange the LRT Ampang Line to Putra Heights.There is no direct train service from Bandar Tasik Selatan to Putran Heights due to new track from Sri Petaling to Putra Heights is using the new signaling system. So I need to interchange at Sri Petaling to continue my journey to Putra Heights.

I use my Rapid Card because it get discount for my fares.

I wait the new train for Ampang Line LRT "AMY' arrive.

Finally arrived.

The LCD TV show the final destination and the information.

The dynamics route map also show the terminal station is Putra Heights and information.

You can see the IOI Puchong Jaya station is beside the IOI city mall. The IOI Puchong Jaya station also can be seen during the train make a curve before reach the station.

Part 2 : To Sentul Timur

Will you imagine I will board the Ampang Line train again to Sentul Timur from Putra Heights? No. I board the Kelana Jaya Line to Masjid Jamek to interchange the Ampang Line to Sentul Timur.

Depart from Putra Heights. Next station: Subang Alam.

Next, I interchange at Masjid Jamek station and board Ampang Line LRT to Sentul Timur.

Then, I return back to KL Sentral. Take a break first to have my lunch at KL Sentral before I continue my next part.

Part 3: To Gombak.

After I have my lunch. I board the Kelana Jaya Line LRT again to Gombak.

One refurbished 2-coaches train go out of the siding. I board this train back to KL Sentral.

Part 4: Return journey.

I drop at KL Sentral again to reload my Rapid card and go to toilet. Then, I board the Kelana Jaya Line LRT again to Putra Heights.

I interchange the Ampang Line again back to Bandar Tasik Selatan and board the KTM Komuter back to Nilai from Bandar Tasik Selatan.

Now I start to plan to have a trip to JB Sentral by ETS to Gemas and Shuttle Selatan/Express Selatan to JB Sentral which is would have at December if no unexpected error. Please keep look for my update in my facebook page. Train lover. Thank you.

**Notes:

1. Effective 17/7/2016, there are no more interchange at Sri Petaling for who want to go to Putra Heights. The train will have a direct service from Sentul Timur to Putra Heights. While to Ampang need to interchange at Chan Sow Lin.
2. The train either Ampang Line or Kelana Jaya normally is stop at platform 1. Platform 1A is Kelana Jaya for while Plaform 1B is for Ampang Line. Same platform share by both LRT Line to easy passengers to interchange without go down to the concourse.
3. I recommended you use the Rapid card or Touch'n Go card to save time any money.
